Left a message on my voicemail looking for a "Cornelius" with the same last name as me. I don't know any person by that name so I blocked the number. The lady who left the message spoke so fast I couldn't even understand what she was on about other than, "Some claim filed against you, Cornelius."

Was a guy who claimed he was from publisher clearing house. He spoke really slow and with a bit of broken english or he was reading from a script and was a slow speaker. I told him I wasn't interested in PCH and he hung up on me

The 1111111111 number is the latest strategy of scammers and marketers to get straight to your voicemail. It is used to hide their caller ID and they have a way to go straight to VM, which is why it rings only once. My particular instance was a voice mail I have gotten many times (without the 1111 spoof). It is always the same. Not a real person so it auto goes to VM and just plays the recording.
