This phone number is from Washington DC, and claims to be IRS. It called me numerous times after the other IRS Scam number, 844.516.5916, which threatened me that IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and asked me to pay taxes via Google Play Cards. IRS website indicates they will not ask us to pay via something like that. IRS website explains well on how they collect money. They will not demand that you make an immediate payment to a source other than the U.S. Treasury. IRS further says, "Private collection agencies will not ask for payment on a prepaid debit card or gift card." This is definitely a TAX Scam. Hope this helps.

I received a voice mail from this number and he said I was wanted for tax evasion for not paying my taxes and that I was going to be arrested within the next 24 hours and be taken to court by the federal government. Do not answer this number and do not give your personal information over the phone. The IRS will not call you over the phone

I received a missed call from this number and it said I was wanted for tax evasion for not paying my taxes and that I was going to be arrested within the next 24 hours and be taken to court by the federal government. It also said my name was written down for fraud because I didnt pay my rent or something. Well I know I paid my taxes in full because I have the receipts and papers and also my rent is not even due yet. This is the most stupid thing I've ever gotten a call from. However, this call was very threatening and I hope that this person or whatever company this is, gets caught and put in jail forever.

Also scam IRS call, threatening that I would be arrested in 24 hours. Left message on vxml. I blocked the number. I've gotten these before from a 202 area code. I hope these people go to jail!

First a ROBO call threatening my arrest for tax fraud due to my ignoring efforts to contact me. We know the IRS never sends out robo calls and when I called back I got a guy with such a heavy Indian accent I could hardly understand him - named K. R. - yeah right! Ha! Just be wary everyone! DONT give out ANY information!
