100% DANGEROUS SCAM! Claims they are from the US Dept of Grants and you get $9000 for paying your bills(??!!). Of course they need your bank info to send you the money....1) There is no such department 2) the government will not "call" you 3) The government knows exactly who you are and does not "need your information". Very amusing to hear this woman babble on in a thick Indian accent while I asked questions like "so you are from the government?" And "the grant department! That's interesting because I am an Enrolled Agent with the IRS(I really am). She hung up immediately.

USA Government Agency giving you a $9,000.00 LOAN that you do not have to pay, you just need to give them all your information. I reported them to the FCC.

I got a very similar call. A man with an Eastern Indian accent that I could barely understand was telling me I was to receive $9000 from the Federal government. Then he started asking for my personal information such as age, marital status and zip code. I hung up.

Yes, same here, USA Government Agency giving you a $9000.00 LOAN that you do not have to pay, you just need to give them all your information. I reported them to the FCC.
