Step dad used my number to take a survey for an $8000 grant. (Survey) reported by


Person said my step father took a survey for a grant. Gave me a supervisor number (202)455-6680 and a code ZL124. Told me I had to call today and go to Western Union to pick up the money in CASH! Hahaha I said okay but I won’t because it’s an obvious scam. You cannot give out an $8K grant in cash.

Gave me number code and phone number. To verify he asked for zip code and full name. Stated that offer was government covered, said that I didn’t need to pay them back. Also Said a survey was taken by ppl and I was a good citizen or something like thAt.

Wanted me to send them money in order to get a government grant (Scam call) reported by


Told me I had been selected to receive $9000.00 government grant from them. Gave me second number to call to speak to supervisor. Called number and in a nutshell wanted me to Western Union them $200. Then, I would supposedly receive $9200.00 Western Union from them.
