***ALERT!!*** NEW TYPE OF SCAM!!! Woman speaking Chinese with music playing in background. So far, this number has called me THREE times today in 8 minutes. I don't answer any number I don't recognize, but they left message. Found out on another call website that scammers have hijacked the ACTUAL phone number of the Chinese Embassy in D.C. It's targeting Chinese nationalists living in the U.S. The message basically states that the person has to go back to China because either they or relatives have committed some violation and either have to pay some kind of a fine or go back to China. REALLY BAD SCAM CALL. This is a new scam that needs to be addressed--people in the Chinese community need to be alerted to this scam so they're more informed and not taken advantage of.
