fbi arrest warrant for IRS tax fraud (Scam call) reported by


first I got a call from 8558355324 saying that there is an arrest warrant and they are calling from fbi headquarters, they know my first name and city location, but were phishing for other info. They said that I would get a call from IRS and that I could look it up to verify the number belongs to IRS. call came from 202622500 and said more or less the same things and was going into the details when he realized I caught is con and hung up while saying he is sending the cops to my place.

An officer called Gary black from FBI will call saying an arrest warrant is issued on your name for tax fraud. I called back the number the actual FBI picked up said it is scam and this number is their switchboard number and they cannot call anyone except connecting you to the people inside the organization. These people somehow managed to spoof the FBI switchboard number

They called me, woman spoke horrible English kept saying can you hear me. She asked for me by name and that scared me, I said she had the wrong number and she hung up. I immediately called the number back and it had the same exact automated answering system as the IRS!!!

Received call from +1(911) threatening me of arrest warrant for IRS tax fraud and then transferred to this number 202-622-50 I was asked to open google and search for Washington DC IRS to confirm that the number is of IRS. I searched google with the phone number and understood that it is IRS number which some scammers are spoofing. I told the person on call that google says that this is a spam call. Immediately he asked me to wait where I am to get arrested and hanged up the call.

Threatened to sue me- something about owing the IRS money. I hung up. Wish I had a giant air horn or other eardrum busting device to sound off a thousand times into the receiver and hope to heck it renders the callers permanently hearing deprived! Grrrrrrrrr. NEVER GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE OR THE MAIL EVEN IF YOU JUST A LITTLE BIT SUSPICIOUS. NEVER. NOT EVEN VERIFY ANYTHING. NEVER.
