The lady over the phone offered me $7000.00 from federal grant money. She told me i could pick it up from Walmart or have it deposited directly into my bank account. I started asking questions and she hung up on me. Obvious scam!

Claimed to offer US Grant from US Federal Grant Office (Scam call) reported by


Received a call from this number and the caller claimed to be from the US Grant office. She claimed that I received a one time Grant in the amount of $7000 for always paying my bills on time. That I needed to receive my money directly into my bank account, by western union, or by Walmart, CVS or Walgreens. The caller asked me to verify my name, age, marital status, and whether I was employed. I lied on all accounts. Then she informed me that I had to call (201) 870 0518 and they would tell me how to receive my money. So I started to ask questions. The caller got irritated with me asking questions and hung up on me.
