Claimed to be from the "government grant office". I had to ask four times to understand her accent (Indian or Middle-East). I've gotten these before. I told her she was a scam and to bother someone else. I have gotten 5 calls in less than 24 hours since then.

Don't Answer to this number! Phishing for Personally Identifiable Information(PII) info to steal your ID. Nine times out of ten they don't speak after you answer. They are simply verifying that it is an active phone number, the sex of the person that number belongs to, a location trace to get an address for the number, then they easily look you up over any number of the various online background checks to get the rest of your information. With those few things they are able to 'become you' and virtually steal your identity. Please take this seriously, unfortunately I am not able to either confirm nor deny the fact that this information is on files with the United States FBI, NSA, CIA, and most of the State Bureaus of Investigation's Cyber Information and Security Teams, but I can strongly advise that you all need to take every precaution possible inorder to protect yourselves and your identities.
