Indian woman on the other end said I'd been qualified for a grant. Then referred me to another Indian man with a less unbearable accent. He said his name was Nathan, but I wasn't able to catch his last name. Told me to go either to a 7/11 or Dollar General to pay fee for grant. Except...you shouldn't pay anything to receive a grant. I let him believe I was sold so he could hang up. I'm blocking both numbers after I type this.

Woman named mary called me she had a heavy accent and i said who is this she knew my name and then said she was calling from united states grants deparments thats as far as she got before i hung up...they also harass me with private numbers sometimes calling up to 15 to 20 timea a day and i havr threated to call the cops and they call on a different number next time.

man with an Indian accent knew my name and was offering me a 9,000 government grant that I didn't have to pay back or pay taxes on, when I asked him what I needed to do to receive the cash he told me to go to nearest walmart and to call him back when I got there to speak to his financial advisor. When I told him that couldn't go to walmart he got verbally abusive and threatened me with physical harm.

I never gave him a change to offer me anything. I have told him several times in the past few days to STOP calling me. He continued. He speaks with a heavy accent, told me to speak English, I told him I was, and NOT TO CALL BACK, he said he would call me back later if I was busy. I repeatedly told him NOT TO CALL ME AGAIN. I finally was so ****, I called him a **** and he called me a ****. I have blocked the number now.

Gentleman wasn’t speaking clearly but claimed to work for government grant branch. Telling me I was going to get 9000 dollars in a grant. I immediately hung up because he talked the way those scam emails read out.

They called me several times in a day with Washington coming up did not answer.I don't know anyone in Washington then they called me in Restricted mode I picked up thinking it was someone else . A man with a very heavy accent offering me some type of grant. They asked for me but never gave them any info . Told them was not interested & hung up. His background was very noisy.

The first time they called, they said I was eligible for a grant. When I asked if it was real or spam they hung up. Couple hours later they started calling again I told them not to call back. And the gentleman kept talking over me and I hung up. And they called back again. I kept telling them to stop calling. And they kept calling back for 6 calls.

He called like 3 times in one day, I kept ignoring them bc I dont know anymore from Washington DC, which is where the number came from. He man then asked for me, my name, which scared me, and then went on to tell me about my "$9000 grant money". If you receive a call like this even if they know your name dont give them any info.
