They had the last four numbers of my social. They were very aggressive and would hang up if I asked them to ID themselves. I never confirmed who I was and they would hang up on me.

Salute Card (Debt collector) reported by


Answered the call, they called me by first name, then asked me to confirm last 4 of SSN...after hesitant confirmation proceeded to tell me that they were a debt collector and that they bought a bill from some company named Jefferson who bought a credit card bill I had at Salute Card for $300 and something. I told her that I did not have a card by that name to which she tried to tell me they sent me information at my PO Box and I have not responded. When I told her again that I do not nor have I ever had a Salute Card she proceeded to fast talk (aggressive) and hang up on me.
