At least, that's how it's showing on nomorobo.com, with a recording and transcript when I Googled the number. This sort of BS should be illegal. You want to stump for a candidate? At least have the decency to get volunteers to do it. Oh, wait. It's supposedly from the RNC. They're too cheap to do it because they can pay some spammer to do it instead for a fraction of having to provide a stipend (or even a meal) to a real person.

Says calling from the US Treasury Dept., and that my number was "randomly" selected to receive $9,000. Only answered because I am expecting another call from the DC area. Person was very unprofessional in the short time I heard them.

Called four times; I answered on the fourth time asking to remove me from their list. The person on the phone called me a mother **** and asked why I would answer if I didn’t want to talk. I explained that he had called four times, and I answered on the fourth time to ask to remove me from the list. He called me a mother **** again. Would not let me speak to his supervisor or tell me what company he was from, but knew my address. Very disconcerting.
