CID show Washington DC. Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to anyone after I chose to talk to human. Call said I could not be connected. Dang. How rude is that? Not even giving me the chance to tell them this call is being recorded for legal purposes.

My name is Adrian Smith calling you from the internal revenue service the tax and proud unit and hotline to my division is 202 860 400 121. I repeat. It's 202-864-0121 now. Don't try to disregard this message and do return the call if I don't hear from you or not from your attorney the only thing which I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Same experience as everyone else here, leaves message with heavy accent saying he's from its department and I am in serious trouble and good luck if you don't call him back because I will be in big trouble. I even called to tell at someone for it and take my number off but I get a busy signal mostly and got hung up on the one time it got answered. I'll agree it's a scam. If irs wants you, you'll know it through letter and official calls.

A man with a heavy accent left a message claiming he was from the IRS fraud department and that I or my lawyer needed to call him back immediately, or good luck to me. He never gives his name or a call back number.
