Scam call reported by kay
They called leaving a message saying it's urgent that I return their call. He said in a very thick foreign accent that he was Officer Eric Foster and that they need to hear from me (did not say my name) or my lawyer. They are rated as Scam or Fraud on Whitepages.

IRS Fraud Call (Scam call) reported by cptnblys
Called stating I needed to call back right away for an urgent manor. Said I committed fraud and that i needed a lawyer. I asked where the official documents were via mail. He yelled at me and then said that he was sending a police office to my house.

This is a scam from India. They use spoofed caller id's and in a thick Indian accent try to get you to wire money. Many different stories - just don't do it. IRS always will contact you via US Mail and NEVER will ask to wire money. Please don't fall for this fellow Americans! These are the lowest of low-life Indian criminals who are desperate and poor. Take heed.

I guess they don't realize that in this country government officials don't call private citizens and make threats.
