A woman called and said she was from Microsoft, and that they had been receiving complaints about me. She wanted access to my computer. When I told her that I'm retired from the largest private university in Minnesota and that I would take my laptop to the computing center for service, she said that they would not be able to correct the problem. That's not very likely! It's a scam and they're looking for financial information, but they sure won't get any information from me. Run away from them as quickly as you can.

I received a call from this number telling me that my network security was compromised through my Windows connection. I inquired how he got my number, and he said from my Windows licence number which he somehow had... He stated that he was going to help resolve my computer issues by repairing my network security. When I told him that Microsoft does not perform random cold calls he again stressed he was with Windows not Microsoft. When I told him I am extremely computer savvy he stated that only he could help me with this issue. So of course I asked to speak to his manager who surprisingly sounded EXACTLY like the person I was speaking to earlier. I was provided this number to call them back should I ever want their help with correcting issues on my computer. Yeah right...

"Microsoft Reports Problems with Your Computer" (Scam call) reported by Anne
Repeated phone calls from this number - gentleman with an Indian accent told me that he worked for Microsoft and that they had been receiving multiple reports about problems with my computer. The last time they called, I told them we didn't have a computer - this time I asked for their callback number and who I should ask for - "James Raymond" at 206-451-5832.

I was also called by the same number and told that there are errors on my computer. Male with indian accent. Also to ask for James. Please don't do anything these people tell you to do.

here too, I got the call this morning, I ignored him, an Indian guy called Robert, same, said my IP was copied by some hackers, my IP address is been reported
