SSA Disability Advisor (Unsolicited call) reported by


'Joe' left a voice mail message. He knew my first name and wanted to 'help' me update my SSA disability claim. I called back because I actually DO have a disability claim under review. When he answered the call he only identified himself as Joe and wanted to ask the questions below which I responded by saying, I'll answer your questions if you'll answer mine first. I asked where he was from and in what department of the SSA did he work. I asked him specifically if he worked for the SSA and his reply was, 'Yep'. I knew then something was not right. No one at the SSA has ever addressed me by my first name (with out asking permission first) and they've never answered any of my questions in such a flippant way as, yep or nope. Needless to say I didn't give him a chance to ask me anything and I hung up. I'm so glad I didn't allow him to ask any questions. I could have easily fallen for his trick because I do have a legitimate claim.

Today 7/7/2017 at 9:32 am PST, I received another call from R. who COWARDLY H. behind this and other random numbers. She calls, never leaves a message and if you answer she listens and eventually hangs up. I've filed complaints with Authorities and anyone who will listen. The number displayed this time was 206-487-5176 United States, but calls originates from 510-734-3710. INVESTIGATE IF YOU CAN IT'S HARRASSMENT.I'M TOLD IT'S CALLED SPOOFING. SHES A LONELY BULLY.
