I had them do this to me last year and they’ve tried many times again. I never answer their calls and then block them. They always find new numbers to use but if I don’t recognize the number I don’t answer and most of the time they don’t leave a message.

They offered me a $9000 Grant that never has to be paid back. All I need to do is pay $250 first, which will be refunded when I get the grant money. So I send them $250 and they will send me $9250. They were adamant that I needed to take my phone with me to the store and that we would be in constant contact until I received the money. When I asked why they couldn't just deduct the $250 from the $9000, she said I was wasting her time and hung up on me. I tried calling back but they wouldn't answer. This is definitely a scam. But just for the fun of it, when they called me again a week later I wasted plenty of her time. I pretended to be at the store in line for several minutes. Then I gave her a fake western union reference number and had her waiting for a while. Then I asked her to read me the reference number again and I said she was one number off, that must be the problem. I had her on the phone for about an hour before she realized what I was doing. It was fun to scam the scammer. Too bad that I couldn't get any money from her though.

I can receive a grant of 9000$ but first I have to pay a "tax" of $250 but they would refund it. Dont do it guys.
