chase verified that it is a scam number. (Scam call) reported by


Indian accent, gave a fake id number which I wrote down. Asked to speak to someone else and I asked what it pertained to then they got rude & hung up in middle of conversation. Called chase and it's a fake number.

They called and I answered. Asked for me using both first and last name, then informed me they needed to speak to me about my Chase credit card. I don't have nor ever had a credit card from Chase. I bank with them, yes. But I do not have any of their major credit cards offered. I proceeded to hang up on them and called Chase's main customer service phone number. They said there's no record of them calling me, and after given them the phone number of the call they said it's not any of their call centers phone numbers. Both me and the representative agreed that it most probably was a scam call.
