This isn't a scam! Those who think that are probably avoiding issues with their credit card payments or bank account. This is a legitimate Chase Bank service. My automatic payments stopped. They called to help me resolve the issue. I checked my online banking and the call was legitimate!

I called them back and it did say Chase Bank. But immediately asks for my account number. I hung up, and checked my account online. I have no issues and I’m current. Then I called the 800 number for my statement and asked them whether they had called me. The CS agent checked my account. There’s no record of outbound calls for me. He confirmed that it would be too early yo call a a customer so early.. For the season I think it’s an elaborate scam.

Said they were Chase and that I was 8 days passed due and owed a $25 late fee. I declined to pay over the phone, they hung up on me, and checked my account online. My payment isn't due until 8/17 so I'm not late and I don't owe any fees. They're a scammer.
