I have gotten two of these calls in the past several days and the caller ID states San Antonio and the number 210-538-7411. They claim to be Chapman Financial Services. The first time they called, I pulled my credit report and nothing shows up as negative. I don't have any past due accounts. All of my accounts are up to date. They use my name and state that I am being served by my county processor - If I don't respond today. They also state that if I work I will be served at work and if I am not present my supervisor will be 'required' to sign for me. Obviously these people have never heard of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Most people who are going to sue you, don't call you and tell you they will. They just do it. The FDCPA prohibits debt collectors from exposing your debt to anyone other than you. No one is ever required to sign for you. I am going to notify my states Attorney General Consumer Protection Division and file a complaint.

they tell me to call at 7063895812 case number 89898, if I do not call they will go to my job and requesting me to have two forms of identification. that they will process this case. I will said this I am tired of scam people that does not go and get a real job. I information had been expose since 2010 here in Texas by the commission office. Already got sick on 2011 with stress attack it will look like a heart condition. please how can be able to help me with this situation.

Financial services recording saying that I will be "served" by a county official because someone has filed a civil suit. They will show up at my place of work (I don't work) unless I call them back at 404-400-7603. They don't list any information such as the county name or my name. It's a total scam.

Said he was a officer of the courts and was gou my to have me served. And he WAS calling from Chapman collection. Well they do not have locations in Texas just in Washington and Idaho.(I called the company)

Chaplain Financial Services, saying that there is a civil suit. This is nothing but a scam. Just trying to steal your information.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?

Chaplain Financial

They claim to be Chaplain Financial. They called me about some payday loan. If I didn't return the call within 24 hours they would send a summons to my workplace. The phone call was to serve as my final warning. It's a scam call! Please ignore. I don't have any payday loans..so please research before picking up the call. I think they try to trace the phone number to a social security number as soon as one responds. BEWARE!
