I have fun with any number that calls me that I don't recognize. Answer the phone "Huntington Beach Police Department Officer Nubbin Speaking!" It's usually the last phone call I get from unsolicited phone callers.

This number has been calling on a claim for Stephen Harding for years now, I have gotten rude treatment and have been told more than one that my number will be removed. they always hang up on you very nasty people.

same thing. called from a different number the other day - same texas area code - same msg. if a legitimate debt collector is trying to get you to pay they first present you with written debt validation - this is a first time phone call of a case/claim against you. not legitimate at all. just block their call or have some fun like i do, find horrid music on itunes, blast your speakers as loud as it can go (heavy death metal is the perfect genre for these calls), call the number then put the phone up to the speaker - or call and blow a whistle into the phone when they pick up - have some fun with it. i've been putting up these scams for years - i've had it. i can't believe they are still not caught and put in jail. and remember, to owe money is NOT a criminal act - they can not threaten to put you in jail for not paying - so their claims and cases against you are meaningless. it's a bunch of bottom feeders. good luck everyone, i feel your pain.

FISHY FISHY. They have my name somehow & keep calling leaving messages for me about "my claim" (which I have none).....so one night, I finally picked up, & when I did, I was on hold for about 30 seconds & when the woman picked up, the first red flag was: "Thank you for calling (blah blah blah)". UMM NO....I DID NOT CALL YOU LOSER, YOU CALLED ME!!!! FISHY AS HELL. - Then, when I firmly asked her "Who is this??" (I was annoyed as hell)...as fast as she could possibly say it, she mumbled "D.A.C.S" (it's like, Umm WHO??? her speed talking=another red flag). I knew at this point that this was a total sham of sorts. She abruptly heads me off before another word can leave my mouth & says "Before I can answer any further questions mam, can you confirm that the last 4 digits of your social are....". I angrily reply "No! I don't think so!--you won't be getting any information out of me!!"....and I slammed the phone down on her. GO GET A LIFE, & A REAL JOB, & MAKE YOUR MONEY HONESTLY--& STOP TRYING TO SCAM INNOCENT HARD-WORKING PPL OUT OF THEIRS!!!!
