A gentleman named "Frank" with a Russian/Eastern accent called stating the was with Spectrum and wanted to speak to "the manager." I told him they were not available, and asked if he would like me to take a message. He said no, and he would try back tomorrow. Googled the phone number and found out that it is a scam.

Person who calls is not American nor do they know anything about accounts currently held with them. They Wanted personal information. I hung up at that point.

Guy with broken accent offered me internet service from Time Warn (Telemarketer) reported by


Guy offered me fast internet service from Time Warner. He sounded suspicious but I told him I was interested in fast internet. He asked for my email address. I gave him my "telemarketer" email address. He asked for my name which I reluctantly gave. When he pressed me for my address I asked for his website address. It was a "coming soon" website. I told him to email me info and call back later. I am 99% sure he is a scammer. No reply email with info was sent.

Woman w Russian accent called and said she was with Time Warner Cable and wanted to talk to me about my account and then asked me what kind of service I had with Time Warner. I told her that if she was really from Time Warner she would know what kind of service I had and hung up. Called Time Warner, it wasn't them.
