Asking for my mothers medicare number over the phone. (Scam call) reported by


My mother answered the call and a lady from the Pain relief center was asking her questions about something. Once I heard mom say something about numbers on her medicare card I took the phone and asked what was going on. They wanted her medicare number so she could get join some pain program, blah blah blah, I told them to not call here again. This place has called here many times before but I usually answer the call and hang up. Definitely a scam if they are asking for your medicare number over the phone.

They called me a lot of time, at first i ignore it because i though it was just a telemarketer or a scam, but when i try to take the call and listen i realized that this is real that they are from pain management center & medical supply center i got my brace at absolutely no out of pocket cost.

Ask for the a person and said Medicare said they had a bad back. They were medical supply company when I asked. I asked to talk to a supervisor. I asked we must be taken off this list, you are calling with incorrect information. He asked for my #, I gave it to him. He said he would remove it. Don't believe this is happen to too many people....I see this as a scam call.

Man claimed to be from Medicare, asking me about "the pain in your lower back." My reaction: "You're calling from Medicare?" "Yes, we are Medicare." "Let me have your number." (Number given, then call cut off.)
