A guy named ken called asking to purchase 8 of a piece of equipment I rarely sell. I am to send him an estimate. He said he'd pay by credit card. It is to go to Isreal. I will not send him an estimate and will discontinue talking to him thanks to finding this web site.

Just like the descriptions below. The person (Ken) called randomly, asked for 20 units of something and wanted me to email a quote. He offered to pay up front then pick up the items when they were ready. His name was K W. When He called, You could hear in the background it was clearly a call center. Caller ID showed 239-400-1150 and the Name D. W.. When I ask him if he knew his name and phone number came up on this web site as a scam, he hung up without another word. When I called the number back... It said the Magic Jack customer was not available .... BUSTED :) I called him back a few hrs later and ask if he remembered calling me to place an order...he ask if I had his email address and I told him yes and ask if he remembered me telling him that his name and # were on a scam list and he hung up again ...Ha!

Just like the descriptions below. The person called randomly, asked for 20 units of something no one ever purchases and did not try to get any sort of discount. He offered to pay up front then pick up the items when theyre ready. His name was Dan Jones and he used the same email: [email protected]. When I called back it was clearly a call center.

Received a call from a K. W. from Ken & Company asking for high price equipment to send to Israel. He would not give me very much information; and I could hardly understand him because his accent was so heavy. He also used the address of W. G. City Hall. NOT LEGIT.

I just got off the phone with this individual. Sounded as if he was calling from a boiler room set-up, as there were lots of people talking in the background, so I was suspicious from the beginning. I wish Id thought of your Teddy Bear remark.

my company received an email from Dan Jones @ Dan & Co. Inc. qyt0244(a)gmail.com. this email got forwarded to me. he wanted pricing on oil carts. he wanted to purchase $6500 worth and have me ship them to IBM in Israel. in reading his email, english is clearly not his first language I knew right away it was a scam. on his email he said his address was 300 W. Plant st Winter Garden Fl. this address is for Winter Garden City Hall. he wanted me to contact freight company on his behalf.

Same as other comments wanted to buy $7000.00 worth of product and have his preferred freight company ship the product. He used stolen credit card tp pay for the product and the freight charges. Wanted freight payment to be wired to bank account to pay for extremely expensive freight charge. No company names, addresses, or phone numbers could be verified. All just a scam. Buyer name is Dan Jones & email is qyt0244(a)gmail.com
