I answered a call from this number. The person on the other end was very hard to understand because of a very thick accent. They said they were with the federal government and that I was chosen to receive $9000 in grants. I stated that this doesn't sound right and she hung up.

STATED THE GOVERNMENT WAS GIVING ME $9K IN CASH. GAVE ME ANOTHER NUMBER TO CALL. SEEMED VERY URGENT AND COULD HARDLY UNDERSTAND HIM DUE TO VERY THICK ACCENT. CALLED SECOND NUMBER AND IT WAS A GOOGLE NUMBER. STATED I WOULD HAVE TO REGISTER MY NAME AND NUMBER AND THERE IS A FEE OF $250.FOR DOING SO. THEY THEN STATED THEY WOULD REFUND MY $250 AND IN TOTAL I WOULD GET $9250. TOLD HER I WASN'T INTERESTED AND HUNG UP. SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!!
