Called and left a message for someone, not me. Called them back to have them remove my number from their system as all of my auto finance is through GM Financial, and PAID! The man asked for my ss#, the vin# to my cars in an attempt to "verify my identity." I would not give him info beyond my name, and where I live. If you can't find my # in your system, than don't call me again.

Callled and requested my credit card number to pay off a car loan. I told him that my husband pays the car bills and I would need to call him to deal with it. He threatened that my car would be repossessed. I told him I don't give my card out over the phone and have no proof he is who he says he is. It went downhill from there. Ended up hanging up on him and called my auto finance company directly.

Left me a voicemail but didn't tell me what they wanted to who they were. I looked them up and saw it was TD Auto Finance. Called back and asked why they called (I had called the day before about my payment). The woman I spoke to said they needed my marriage certificate for a requested name change. Why they couldn't tell me that in the voicemail- I'm not sure. I have had really good luck with this company, reps are usually friendly and except one time when the man I spoke to was really rude, unprofessional, and judging me because I was needing a 6 day extension on my payment.
