Wow ! I just received a telephone call from a service that stated they were calling to help me with employment as they had seen my information on line that I was looking for a job. The lady seemed extremely kind. Then she asked me to spell my complete name, First, Middle, and last. What !? Something ranked up in my stomach (thinking, if you got my information off line, you would already have the spelling of my name) So, I asked her what company she was with. She said, US governmental jobs. I never applied to this sight. When I was looking at it, something just said no ! So backed out off the site, and now she calls. That same feeling came back. I just thanked her for her call today, and hung up. I really felt this was about someone gathering my personal data to sell information. I'm sharing this information for others out there in the same position of job seeking. Do not be too easy or too quick to share or unload your personal information over the phone to someone who claims to want help place you in a job. In all the other 200+ resumes I have out there, no one ever contacted me and started asking for the information she did. (the number was 269 340 0906). Be Careful People !!!
