Left a voice mail saying their name was B. A. and they were calling to get my student loans into a repayment plant and to see how the year changes are affecting my loans etc etc and left a reference number and other phone number to call them back 866-277-0042 no company info and the call was unsolicited.

Called saying they needed to discuss my student loan, how the new system would be affecting it, and updating my information. Left a reference number, but no company name. This number has no connection with my student loan provider and is a scam to get your personal information like banking details.

Asked to call regarding student loans. All of my loans are serviced Nelnet. I believe this is a scam call. I have standing payment arrangements and have not been alerted to any changes. I will not be calling them back.

They made this call go through as "Restricted" so I didn't answer the phone. However they left a voicemail (and the number showed up for that), and the person asked for me to call back (a completely different number by the way) to discuss repayment options. They didn't say what the repayment was for. I am repaying back school, but I don't believe it was them since I just made a payment yesterday and got the okay that they accepted it. Not calling the number back.
