Some "gal" called asking if I was the estate executive for my husband. When I asked who am I speaking to she stated in a soft voice something about a debt collector but wouldn't say what company then hung up. She tried again calling, but this time on my husband phone and hung up instantly when I answered. What a piece of ****** preying on the grieving.

She asked me if I was the executor or person taking care of my father in laws estate. I told her I'm not, but I'm helping. She said she needed more information about my father in law before she will tell me what she wants. I informed me she had to tell me what she wanted before I would give her any info. She said she will call back. I told her I won't be more comfortable later. She wouldn't give me any info, at all.

Woman called me on behalf of my mother's estate. (Scam call) reported by


Woman called me on behalf of my mother's estate. I told her my mother had no estate. She said she was calling on behalf of a client's report of money owed she had in her office. I left the room my children were in and said, "What was that?" I sounded really annoyed. This is NOT the first scam call I've had since my mom passed away. It is infuriating to me to have to deal with this on top of my mom's passing. She hung up in my face. I called back repeatedly wanting to tell her off really badly. I know, I know. I'm sure she's just a worker. I was mad. But call never went through.

Looking for the executor of my late mothers estate (Call centre) reported by


She called and asked for the executor of my late mothers estate. That is not me, and I have no idea how she came across my phone number as I'm not listed, and I've made sure my number stays private. I've passed on the contact info to my father, who is the executor, but I'm not sure this isn't a scam or attempt to solicit money. If this is an attempt to get money from my late mothers estate, then shame on these people - thats just an awful thing.

They just called me asking if I was the executor of my late mothers estate - I told them no and that I would get the information to the executor. I then looked up the number as it seemed fishy, they wouldn't tell me anything, and she said to just give the executor the number that showed up on my caller ID. I just tried calling it back, it is disconnected. The people that prey on the grieving families like this are just scum -
