Called and asked for the company owner by first name. Caller had a tone like it was really "important" business- he seemed a little pushy, just said "John please" I started saying "He's not in right now, would you like to leave a..." and he just hung up on me!! Rude jerk.

Called and asked for one of the owners by first name. I said he was on a call already, can I help you? He said "well, usually when I call he answers my call. Do you know how long he will be?" and I said no, but could I help him. He then asked for his email, I said he's the vice president, we don't give out his email to just anyone, how can I help you? He then asked for an owner, I said my name and that I'm the president of the company and a part owner, how can I help you and he hung up. He was arrogant, ****, rude, and persistent that he speak with the vice president, and would not even consider leaving him a voicemail, would not identify what company he was from, and only identified himself as Shawn.

Asked for our owner, told him I need to know who is calling and if its business related. He said yes but not going to tell you who this is. I said then I'm not getting you to the owner as your caller ID shows up as a solicited number. He said he was with a collection agency. I said well them you should be speaking with the accountant, he said oh never mind I'll call back. I said you will get the same answers... I've blocked his number

Asks for decision maker by first name, fast talking and probably used to dealing with people who are push overs. Magical thing about phone calls is that you can hang up on them, these are not customers, there will be no **** back, you handle them with courtesy until they become rude and then you hang up on them. And then block the number if possible. I love dealing with **** like this and then taking a minute and filling out one or two of these websites so that others can see that they are just trash calls and don't get worked up by them.

I answered with my usual greeting: "thank you for calling [company name]; how may I direct your call?" and heard awkward breathing for a few seconds before they hung up. I looked up this number on other sites and found tons of complaints about different scams (most being debt collector calls).

Two calls from the same number. First one acted as though he knew the owner of the business and would call again. Two seconds later... another person called from the same number asking for another manager by name. Rude guy basically called me a liar for calling him out on the unsolicited calls. These calls were immediately followed up with three calls from another set of numbers.
