Excel Energy disconnection scam (Scam call) reported by


Woman calling stating she was with Xcel & our account was delinquent and had to pay $500 now to avoid disconnection. Told woman we just paid our bill in full on its due date last week. She tried to say I was lying & need to pay now. I confronted her on the proper procedure of Xcel agent calls as I use to work for them. She THEN changed her story and became very rude, stating she was not from Xcel but from a collection company working for Xcel. I told her to stop harassing me & will be reporting this number for harassment & scam. As I was hanging up she was loudly saying she was sending me to collections
