Caller claimed calling from a law firm, (Scam call) reported by L. K. Wall
Asked if I was related to Carston W. That they had a claim against him. And that I was named in the suit. It was regarding a car accident. They said the date of the accident, said he was driving a BMW. Couldn't name insurance or give additional information. He doesn't own a BMW nor do I. Actually he doesn't even own a car, he lives in MN, I live in Florida. The same woman Gertrude, called Carston first. Threatened him. Told him he either pay now or they would revoke his DL and told him they had the power to revoke mine as well.

Fake call about an accident? (Scam call) reported by Mick
I received 2 calls from this number claiming their client was USAA insurance and that they needed to speak to me in 2 voicemails in the same day. So I call up USAA first and they deny filing against me for anything. I block the number. They call me again this morning after 2 weeks and now claim its about an accident i had- which i haven't had an accident that was not a fender bender with another USAA insured member since November 2018 so it's definitely a scam and I'm positive they only have my name because of my voicemail greeter. I think USAA or whatever company they are claiming to be would most definitely send a letter discussing what they are filing or intending to collect and IF they have contacted a collection agency before you would actually receive calls.

This lady Left a message for someone else on my phone regarding an accident on August 1st last year USAA insurance company has retained their law firm to please return call at 1-800-313-5169 x3191, reference file 183-3152. Very annoying and I am glad I missed the call, just saw this email from 2 months ago. I am sick of receiving unwanted call.
