Scam LADWP Will Disconnect Service If Fail To Call Return Number (Scam call) reported by Retro
On 03-17-20, at 12:30 PM PDT, I received one of many calls from 310-452-57xx. Due to high volume of robocalls that I receive and the failure of carrier (Frontier Communications) to assist, I no longer answer my telephone. I let all calls go to voice mail. I check any message left. This perpetrator left a voice mail message telling me that my electricity would be disconnected by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power if I did not call back using 800-572-4850. I have no outstanding billing problems with LADWP. Thus, I did not return the call. BLOCK THE 310 NUMBER IF YOU ARE ABLE. [BTW, the toll-free number is NOT toll free.]
