Person with thick accent and sounded like he was at a call center called and immediately started asking questions about our company without introducing himself. After asking for his name and what the call was regarding, he said he is from "Manufacturing News" and that he is verifying information for the State of California. Told him that I know nothing about his company and therefore cannot provide or confirm any information. He ignores me and continues asking for company information so I hung up.

Very thick accent. Said he was calling from the State of CA to verify business info. Had basic info, asked too many questions. Got defensive when I asked him questions about himself. Bad connection, static.

a heavily accented man calling from a incredibly poor connection, claiming to be calling from the state asking to confirm our business information. when i confirmed our address, i said that i could barely hear him through the poor connection. he told me "ok i will call back later" and hung up.
