The number called me and a lady answered stating that it was Joan Harper and that the warranty on my vehicle is about to expire, is that correct? I asked what vehicle they were talking about and she responded that they usually start by verifying which vehicle I drive most. Sure...let me just give you that information over the phone...NOT. When I stated that they should be able to tell me what vehicle they have on file, they are calling about, she wanted to put me on hold to talk to their specialist... bogus. Hang up on them and block this bad number, anyone trying to get information out of you is a scammer.

These dirtbags, who called me May 19, 2016, got my number through a telemarketing outfit that has been calling and texting me since at least November 2015. I know because they keep referring to me as "Robert" (my name is John). I've asked to be removed numerous times and I've also blocked the number they call from, but they just call with a different number. Today's call was silent, but other/related calls feed an automated message for everything from starting a business, to pre-approval for a loan of some type. The only reason I still answer unknown calls is in the hopes that there is a human on the other end so I might get an opportunity to swear at them often and loudly.
