I have no idea who this is or what they called for. I don't answer my phone as a rule. so, if they don't leave a message, i assume it was a telemarketer or scammer of any sort...

This is the old Warranty scam. A relative of mine, who was recovering from a stroke, fell for it. They are criminals and prey on the vulnerable, the elderly and the poor. I hate their guts. They sound like Republicans, don't they?
