Received a call about a promotion that was ending soon and they could keep my rate the same or lower. When I said I already pay the normal rate and that I wasn't on any promotion. The lady said I was on a promo and that my rates where about to go up. So I told em this is some kind of scam and hung up. Called Xfinity and spoke to them and was told yeah that caller was trying to pull a fast one.

I received a call from this number today and a similar call a couple months ago. They started by stating I had a promotion that ends in a couple weeks. Then I was asked what and how many devices I stream at home. I ended the call today at that, letting the know I was not interested. The call a couple months ago, I spoke with the person a little longer. The person had no idea what services I was using and said to get this promotion, they would need my payment information. I contacted Xfinity/Comcast customer service number and let them know and they said they do NOT make calls like this.

I've received a handful of calls from this number over the last couple weeks. The couple times I answered it was an Xfinity promotional call trying to get me to pay more to increase my internet speed and add services I don't need. To be fair, at least the lady I talked to was polite and upfront about the purpose of the call, but it's annoying that they keep calling even after I told them I wasn't interested. Do yourself a favor and block this number.

Call was from xfinity offering me a 12-month promotion to double my internet speed and offer a couple other services. I'm horribly suspicious of scams, but my friend had the exact same call maybe a week ago and all has been well for her. They also verified all my info with me and sent me a link to view the details of the promotion, which again I would've been incredibly suspicious of if it hadn't come from the automated number that Xfinity has already used to contact me in the past with regard to my bills and things. Not what I was expecting or hoping for today, but honestly not a bad outcome. The lady was also very clear about what the intention of the call was and was happy to answer any questions I had. Seemed very understanding of suspicion and again, the number and everything seemed to be correct, in order, and verifiable.

Woman with African American accent called saying she was from Comcast. She was offering a new service which would supposedly lower my price even more but she just wanted to gather information from me. Didn't seem like a professional call at all as she stuttered a lot and didn't seem professional or like she knew what she was talking about. When she called she knew my name right away though! I said I wasn't interested in the services and before the call ended she said "thanks 1800 Comcast" which sounded very strange to me. She obviously didn't call from a 1800 number. Scam!

Supposedly a 3rd party Comcast call center offering new discounts on your soon to expire current contract/deal. Kept insisting I take the deal now over the phone right then and there, offered to call back at a later time. Told them I'd rather call Comcast when I had time and kept saying Comcast doesnt have these deals, just through them. Sounds like a SMELLY SCAM!!!
