Scam call reported by SIA User
So called company identifying as Senior Aid Helper that is using an AI voice that sounds very much to be human, but just answer "terrible" when it asks how you are doing today. It's reply, will repeatedly be "GREAT". Interrupts it and it apparently causes a fault in programming and it will start over with the goal of connecting you to an "agent". It also informs the recipient that it is calling on a recorded line and that you may press one to be removed - doing so causes that fault or exception; and you may very well find that your voice is being recorded. It does change up periodically and ask a yes or no question, obviously looking for "Yes". Additionally, be careful not to answer a call with words or statements such as Yeah, Yes?, Go Ahead, uh-huh, etc. for obvious reasons - this stated for anyone who doesn't know why. It has been calling with a limited number of voices, but they all follow the same pattern and are attempting to obtain an affirmative answer or obtain personal information, as simple as the capability of an AI/recording to ask your name - an easy "yes" response. It has been calling me with the same agency ID identifying statement for months. I block the number, now using this app, but eventually it calls back - immediately from another state, later in the day or week regardless of the donotcall.gov registry or "pressing 1".

I am labeling this "call identifier" as SCAM for reasons expressed for the public (if that is who can read the above) due to the pattern established over time. The number I have no idea about - I have called it back in the past and found it to be a person's personal number, obviously having been spoofed. I guess there is no way to stop it in that regard, however, if there really is a Senior Aid Helper agency out there, that is not who is calling me. I hope this helps.
