Wants donation. (Telemarketer) reported by

Wanted money for Vets. I said I’m going to give you 500 dollars, just stay by phone and I’ll call you right back. He didn’t want me to hang up. I did hang up and called back. Went to busy signal as I suspected. Scam.

Veteran's??? (Non-profit Organization) reported by

Somebody named Paul just called and asked for me. "American's Veterans". 1st red flag caller ID says name not available. 2nd red flag is when you call the number back from the caller ID the line is always busy. People, it's okay to support our veteran's, but go through the Veteran's Administration or reputable charities. Also, NEVER give to an organization that cold calls you, with a fake or spoofed caller ID. ALWAYS ask them idf they have a website, their 501(c)3 status and where you can obtain a copy of their most recent financials that show how much collected actually goes toward their intented goals and not salries and overhead.
