I've had several calls from this number. They have claimed to be a loan center, an insurance company and the IRS. I believe they got my info from an online survey, so beware. Needless to say, I have been having fun. I told them that I didn't own a car but asked them if they would insure my bike. When asked for the year and make I told them it was a 2012 Huffy with a basket and a pretty bell. He hung up on me. That was this morning. This afternoon I get a call from the same number. This time they were the IRS, claiming I owed them $3954.00. I won't go into details, but gave him reason to hang up on me again. I then proceeded to call back...27 times. He finally decided not to hang up on me when I sounded legitimately worried. He asked for a CC number, and for upset when I told him my husband wouldn't let me have one. He asked if I had the money to pay, so I told him I had loads of money. He told me to get a prepaid CC and he will be calling me back for the number. Meanwhile, my son called them staying that he was "Jim something-or-other" from the FBI, and told them that he had been receiving a lot of calls regarding an IRS scam connected with that number... *Click* I look forward to calling them again tomorrow.

Received a call from 347-518-1046 it was an automated message telling me that I needed to call the number back ASAP before legal action was taken against me by the IRS. I Googled the number prior to calling it back as I figured this was a scam. I called back and the creep that answered the phone said he was with the IRS, I asked why he was calling me, he replied "because your voice is so sweet". I replied "and you are with the IRS and saying this to me". He hung up.

Said they were calling from the IRS, when I asked if they were with the United States government agency they said no they were with the IRS in Mexico. I asked if I could record the call and they hung up. I called them back and they had the nerve to ask me to stop calling them.

I also got a call today from this same number about 5 times. With and automated message that there was a Lawyer was representing my case and provided a callback number of 347-518-1046. When I call a man answered stating he was from the IRS. I then ask to have their address so I can mail in a payment (just to see what they would do). The person put me on hold but never came back. I then call the number 15 times but they answered and hung up. This is a scam.
