He tried to market internet service on me and when I told him I did not have time for a marketing call, he threatened to cancel my repair appointment. Yeah, time for a change.

DirecTV follow up-called 3 times at various times throughout day. Assumed it was a telemarketer. Trying to sell internet service after verifying my appointment with Technician for troubleshooting of snow in picture. Pushy and persistent.

I was annoyed. They called me 3 times throughout the morning starting around 8 AM interrupting my sleep. I did not answer and checked for messages each time in voicemail. Finally answered at 1:15 same day. They were DirecTV call center verifying an appointment I had made for a bad satellite connection troublehooting scheduled 2 weeks into the future. I reverified the appointment with the woman, who did not identify herself, but I assumed was DirecTV. Could hear other operators and her accent was clearly Filipino (I'm filipino.) She started pushing other services. Mainly internet service. I told her I was happy with my provider, but if DirecTV could beat their price, I might be interested. She said she could provide me with a list of providers. I reiterated my response of "DirecTV" providing a better price. She told me if I had problems I should call customer service. I reminded her that she called me. No, I don't want another provider and I'm not calling customer service. Not interested. Appointment verified. End of story...
