I returned the call, the person gave me the fake information, that I had a VS credit card from 2014 and they were collecting $500. I never had one so that was not true. They threatened to garnish my wages, I explained how the garnishment process works to her, and laughed at her. And she hung on me! Save yourself the trouble, block the number as I did.

Falsely claimed I owed payday loan debt. (Scam call) reported by


Got a robocall claiming they were attempting to serve me with a legal action and that I should call them immediately. When I called them they had my name, phone number and last 4 digits of my social. The lady claimed that I owed a past due payday loan. I know for a fact that I didn't and quickly realized she was attempting to scam money from me for a false debt. This is a common scam that has cropped up apparently known as the Payday loan scam.
