This number called my home, i answered the call it was a recording saying the IRS is suing me. SO i called the number back, a live person answered, they stated they are the IRS, i said oh really, i asked is this a official IRS number she wouldnt answer me, kept asking my name then the phone hung up. So i called back again, got the same person, i told her all my years dealing with the IRS i could never get someone on the phone so easy, i asked her what is her name and irs number the phone hung up again on me. I called again, this time a male answered he stated he was the Irs so i asked him is this a office IRS number? He then got upset and said, **** u **** ****!!! LOL which is funny because i'm not black! So i called 1 last time, same man answered the phone i said you just called me a **** and a ****, so i know for a fact this is not the IRS, i told him i'm white and he said your very well a **** so i got mad and told him well i know for sure your a Indian pulling a scam so why dont u go back to India. Which i never go there like that but the fact that they call your phone and then talk **** to you is crazy. So oh well. BIG TIME SCAM TO SCARE YOU AND SEND THEM MONEY!!

They call and claim you owe money to the IRS. They know your name, phone number, and address, which is all public information and easy for anyone to get. They claim that the call is being monitored by the local police and the IRS. They say that they have issued a warrant for your arrest unless you pay. They claim they have tried to contact you by mail several times....blah blah blah they are full of crap. It is a scam.

First red flag was it was a call to my Google Voice number, which is typically 90% fake calls for me. This is a robocall, with strategic audio dropouts that mask the actual reason for the call. The IRS doesn't make such calls.

Claim they were with the IRS. claim that a warrant for my arrest already issue. back taxes owed if not dealt with immediately would be in court. completely bogus for the IRS just paid me my taxes back. my local police department would show a warrant for arrest and there is no such. besides that the IRS would send you a certified letter prior to any engagement. they would hold your taxes . and they definitely would not warn you of an arrest warrant.
