A man called me saying he was from CEG and if I was still looking for jobs in the Los Angeles Area (where I'm from). I also did get a text prior from a Katie saying the same thing about "your application for an open position we have in L.A." I'm not sure if it's legit or not. They sent me a zoom link through text, but I'm not clicking just t be safe.

I never applied to this job.This Katie person copies and pastes the same text message over and over and never replies to any. She talks so fast you can't even understand her to the point where you feel rushed to make a decision. Typical scam environment. Our call lasted a few seconds because I was hesitant, so she hung up instantly. Everything is fast and rehearsed as to go through more victims and not waste time.

I first received a text messaging from Katie saying she needed me to call her to schedule an interview with Outliers Consulting in CLT, NC. (No prior contact and I also have never applied there) then there was a call an hour later with no voicemails and lastly an email saying this was a final notice to schedule an interview. All within the same 6 hour time span. Very suspicious.

Hi Amelia, it looks like your application was sent in to us through Ziprecruiter. We actually tried to call you twice and the reason we do not leave a voicemail is we have already sent you a text message letting you know who was calling and the reason we were calling you. We also sent you the final attempt email because the following day was the last days of interviews for the position you applied for.

a lady named Katie from 3MP said she was calling because she reviewed my application. i had no idea what she was taking about because i never applied to this place!! she hung up the phone when i stared asking too many questions

So I believe what happens is whoever you make a profile on one of these “Find a Job” sites and you upload a resume everyone has the ability to see said resume unless you turn that feature off. There are a lot of companies on there that will tell you they’re in sales or marketing and such and they want to hire you at an entry level management position and a lot of young saps fall for it. Even their tactics appeal to less experienced people. I.e texts instead of emails. . Weird stuff. Go ahead and go into your settings, turn that feature off and go about your day. These companies are a big time waste !

V Consulting. They want to hire you to be a "manager" but really they want you to stand around Walmart and ask people to get direct TV. it is a big scam!
