Asked if I could donate for Breast Cancer Research, after hearing the full information, I politely told her that I do not give donations over the phone due to scamming reasons, she thanked me, told me to have a good day and hung up.

I ask, "What number are you calling?" Then she started in with, "Due to security features....." I hung up.

She asked if the head of household was in. I hesitated and said that would be me. She said "okay, I call back some other time". I said excuse me, and she hung up.

They claim to be a charity but are very aggressive when you ask them to stop calling you. They say they are exempt from the Do Not Call List, which might be true, when you are supposed to be a charity it is best not anger people who donate to legitimate charities. Am guessing by the attitude of the caller they take a portion of what they claim is a donation. I prefer to donate to a cause where the money actually goes to whatever they are collecting for, rather than to pay the salary of the person calling. Thinking scam as they are too ready with the answers as to why they can call and harass you.

Lady called, asking for me by my full first name (which is a tipoff she is reading from a list because nobody calls me that). Said they were soliciting donations for breast cancer research event or something. Seemed fishy so I hung up.

... calls a known "Do Not Call" registrant at 8 pm Central Time on a Monday? Level 3 Communications! It appears to be a local number. The company website says it's based in Colorado.

Didn't know the number and didn't answer. Didn't leave a voice mail. Called at 8 pm CST. Probably spoofing someone's real number.....I hate that!

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?

Just got a call tonight.about 8:30..do not answer phone numbers I don't recognize..am assuming since this was just reported,it's a telemarketer/spam.
