Lending Tree and a loan I did not apply for. (Scam call) reported by


Caller was a woman, stated she was calling from Lending Tree in regards to a loan application i had recently made. I had not applied for any such loan from Lending Tree, ever. When I said so, she said she would note my "file". When I began to question her further she immediately hung up. I called back. Same woman answered and hung up when I began to question her.

Same here except they did tell me that it was a different name with my phone number on the loan application. They were supposed to note it on my "file" but I'm still getting phone calls and text everyday.
