A woman called offering vacation packages thru Hilton, typical moderately pushy sales call. I called Hilton Honors and it is a legit # from their Hilton Grand Vacations promo department. When I asked Hilton Honors to be removed from their list they were nice about it.

It was Hilton Honors and a real person. She was very friendly but didn't let you speak once you she started telling you her pitch about being a valued member... yada yada yada... Anyways I asked her to remove me from the list and she was very friendly and confirmed that I was removed. They called everyday for a few days so I was glad I finally got to pickup and have myself removed.

She said I was a "Hilton Honors Member", I said "that's weird, I do not stay at Hiltons and do not remember signing up for that"; she was utterly snarky and said "I am sorry you don't remember walking into our hotel" as she hung up. WHAT?!? The rudest telemarketer on the planet-- she successfully made me never want to stay at a Hilton again!
