I called the number back, they left a message claiming there was a charge on my account with a date, etc.. when I called back, first thing they asked is if I had an account with them. When I answered no they hung up.

I called back to this number after they left a voice message talking about an IP address. I called back and an Indian male sounding person answered and said "Amazon Security Team, how may I help you?" I told him about the IP address message and he immediately hung up on me.

Male with Indian accent called stating he was from Amazon Security and that my Amazon account has been compromised. He wanted my personal information in order to secure the account again. He sounded very believable. I was paranoid, so I told him that I would call Amazon myself to verify the information and go from there. I called Amazon and learned this was a SCAM call.

The robot call stated I had virus and needed to call back the number. Knowing that it was a scam, I called the number back. The man I spoke with was clearly not in the country. I told him I was a Fraud Detective and was tracing the call. He hung up.
