First lady left several messages about a MD resident health survey. Eventually picked up (on accident) and completed the survey. Some questions bothered me, but did not see too much harm in it. Just picked up phone again tonight (a month after first lady), different lady, stating survey was random. I told her that I had already completed the survey and she sounded surprised. Perhaps better to pick up and tell them to leave you alone.

Answered call, woman said she was with the Maryland Department of Health, doing a survey of health of Americans. Wanted irrelevant information. Also calls my husband, so I do not believe it is random. Calls 3-4 times a day, has been going in over 2 weeks now. I have never seen a surveyor repeat call. Scam. Blocked.

This was an "important survey" about the health of Americans. My health information is private and none of their business. If they truly want statistics about health conditions, they can go through the proper channels to get health information from medical records that has been scrubbed of all identifying information. Researchers do this all the time when they publish studies.
