Robocall claiming that they were calling because I had not responded to a magistrate judge or grand jury appointment regarding a federal crime. Was instructed to call the number to speak to a federal agent. I have reported this number to the FTC. Same number called pretending to be the social security administration.

I first got an automated call claiming to from the Social Security Office and to be a third attempt to reach me. It claimed that it was a crime to ignore the call. I called the number back and reached a call center. A woman with a strong foreign accent asked me for my first and last name, then for my social security number. I told her I wanted to verify that this was actually the SSO before giving out any information, so I looked up the number and found that it is NOT the Social Security Office. When I told her that she was committing fraud, she hung up on me.
