This number called my husbands phone and I answered and he asked if I spoke Spanish and I said no. He then proceeded to continue in Spanish. I handed the phone to my husband because he speaks Spanish and the man was yelling at him asking why he was dodging calls for the “investigation” and my husband was confused because he hasn’t dodged anyone’s call. He is in the process of getting citizenship and so we didn’t know if it was a scam at first until he started threatening to arrest my husband if he didn’t pay. Also a note to remember when we asked him multiple times who he was looking for he would never say a name. So I knew ok it’s a scam. His connection was really bad and I figured fbi can afford better phones that that lol. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO ON YOURSELF. They are wanting your identity and money

"FBI San Francisco" called me. I answered the call (in English) but the guy on the other side kept asking if I speak Spanish so I started to speak to him in Spanish. He said he's from the San Francisco police and told me that there was an arrest warrant on my name because I had solicited prostitutes online (I didn't). He told me that there's an international group of sex trafficker operating in low income countries like Colombia, Panama and Dominican Republic. I just played along. He then asked me to google the phone number from which he called so he can "know what department I'm in". At that point, I was just taking my time while wasting his but he grew frustrated that I was taking so long so I asked if I could get somebody who speaks English because you know, it's the "San Francisco Police". He said he was going to transfer me and I waited to get transferred but never did. So I hung up. He was Indian by the way. No Spanish speaker from anywhere in Latin America speaks with that kind of accent. Think of an Indian accent but in Spanish. Also mispronounced many words.

FBI calling saying I'm under investigation (Scam call) reported by


Called me 7 times and I finally picked up. A man with India accent claims himself as an officer from the police department. I was laughing and wanted to hear where this goes. He asked me to explain why I'm laughing and asked me why I'm not scared since I'm not a US citizen. It got disconnected when I told him I knew exactly what's going on. I just want someone to look into this because they actually have personal information about me and are calling from a documented government number....

FBI San Frabcisco calling about my collage. (Scam call) reported by


Heavily accented man called asking if I was me then said he was from the FBI and calling about a case against me and my college. I had no idea what he was saying. I put him on speaker so my husband could hear and then the man accused me of laughing at him and got angry and said my behavior would affect the case. At that point he asked me to hold and speak with his superior. Thankfully the call was disconnected. Haven't heard back. I'm assuming this is a scam!
